Of Puzzles and Pieces

 

The Days With The Lord Anniversary Mass is held every November and is participated in various DWTL communities around the Philippines. This year the mass was held in San Miguel Church inside the Malacanan Complex. The UST DWTL community hosted the said event in time for their celebration of their 100th batch.

 

This year's theme, "Jess is the last piece", focused on the message of how Christ should be the center of our lives. Moreover, it emphasized how Jesus is the piece that completes the puzzle that we call life.

 

 

 

This is the third time that I have attended an Anniversary Mass for Days With the Lord. The first one was back in 2012 when Walk With Jess hosted the Mass. It was held in San Agustin Church in Intramuros. The second one was in the Church of the Gesu in Ateneo de Manila with Days With The Lord Agape as the host.

This year, is a very special year, since a lot of Bicolano dazers attended the mass. There were around 27 dazers who attended the mass and it was great to see that all the Bicolano communities were represented. This is one activity where dazers from different communities are able to gather under one venue.

It may not be as grand as they expected it to be but the great thing about the mass is that it drives you back to the core of the Days With The Lord and that is to strengthen and form a relationship with Jesus.
