I heard of this book probably two years ago. What made it interesting was its plot about a gay impersonator who turns out to be a mananaggal. I know ricky Lee have written awesome screenplays but him writing about a transvestite who becomes a managgal at night was really interesting.
Unfortunately two years ago, I barely had the money to buy books and I forgot about it. It was a great thing that my friend Monica asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and Alas! She sent me this book. Enough of the history.
